FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS

HBS’s financial management division is headed up by Hendrik Smuts from his base just outside Cape Town, South Africa. Hendrik and his team will be your own, independent finance team that can be deployed on a project basis or on a continuous basis. Possible projects can be evaluation of new business opportunities, assistance with M&As or accounting reviews. Continuous assignments can be limited to regular, specific objectives, e.g. monthly reviews and reporting or it can be a full scope financial management and accounting assignment .

Typical services include but are not limited to:

 

Project Management, from initial feasibility studies, charting strategies for implementation, to deployment and post-implementation reviews and evaluation		Budgeting and Report Design to facilitate effective management, review and decision making
Internal Audits		Periodic financial reviews, analysis and customized reporting to management
Review, Design and Implementation of control systems to ensure the integrity of financial data and information delivered to management		Treasury, cash flow and working capital management
Assistance with or management of annual balance sheet closure and preparation for external audits, including liaising with auditors up to publication of annual financial statements		Mergers & Acquisitions – Evaluation of opportunities, negotiations and process management.
Acting as an Independent Financial Manager, managing the client’s internal finance and administration team, reporting to senior management		Full business administration (bookkeeping) and management services for owners or investors that wish to outsource the complete administrative and financial operations of their business .
Analysis of productivity and advice on how to improve efficiencies (IT solutions can also be developed as part of any strategies identified)
